Fill a Prescription

If you want to bring your new prescription in to be filled or held for a future fill. You can drop them off at the pharmacy or they can be faxed directly to the pharmacy at 780-665-6095. We cannot accept faxed prescriptions from our clients. They must come directly from the prescriber’s clinic.

Refill a Prescription

If you have your prescription with ARTARx, you can request a refill by calling the pharmacy at 780-822-3784. You also have the option of signing up for our online prescription renewal platform through PharmaConnect. You can click the link above or contact the pharmacy for more information.

If you don't have any refills remaining, the ARTARx pharmacy can contact your physician to request a renewal prescription. Or, you can meet with one of our clinical pharmacists to discuss the possibility of obtaining a refill through pharmacist prescribing.

Transfer a Prescription

To transfer your prescriptions, please visit the pharmacy during regular business hours. The pharmacy team will need to know:

• Your name, address and phone number
• Any prescription drug coverage information you have
• The name and phone number of your current pharmacy
• Which prescriptions you would like to transfer to ARTARx

Our staff will collect your information, put it on file, and answer any other questions you have about the transfer process. Additional information, like requests for medication pouching or blister packaging or easy-open vials can also be requested at this time. 

You can call the pharmacy ahead of time to make the prescription transfer process faster once you arrive at ARTARx. The transfer process must still be completed in-person, but this allows the pharmacy team to contact your current pharmacy ahead of time to transfer the prescription information and start preparing your medications.
